On Monday 19th June, Year 3, Year 3/4 and Year 4 took part in a ‘Taste of the Mediterranean’ presented by Junior Chef. The children became chefs for the day and used traditional foods from various Mediterranean countries to make a fruit crunch. They were guided through the experience and learnt about the origins of the fruit and vegetables and explored some of the human features from each country. The children had a fantastic day and they all had a chance to learn some cooking skills and try new foods.
